It’s 07:00 PM here in Karachi, Pakistan. 2 hrs have passed since the polling process ended. The counting process has started and the results are coming on the media with the time passes. For the first time I had the chance to vote in my life. Which I declined. I had a craze to go into the elections. I have worked in the last local bodies elections and the election 2002 campaign. I had been fighting within myself to vote or not to vote. But in the end, I opted not to vote. The reason being very simple is that, I do not accept any action or step  taken by the Illegal Pervez Musharaf . Elections are one of the steps he has taken.

I am a man of my own opinions. And I will stand by my Opinions. People had been asking me to vote for the best candidate, if your party is not taking part. Yes, they could be right. But I have to face my Allah one day. I will be asked about my deeds. And certainly a vote is one of my deeds.

One school of thought describes that we will be just asked about our Prayers and anything related to Religion on the day of Judgement. They wont be asked about the way they earned their livings. The way they make decisions and so on. This is really pathetic. Unfortunately, A large portion of our population belongs to this school of thought.

In the meantime, the current scenario shows that elections might be held again within a period of one year. I may get another opportunity and I may take part in the elections that time. But for sure never ever under a illegal, American co-sponsored leadership.
